We caught up with the content creator about his favorite books, his opinion on e-readers, and another gear he relies on like regular BookTok.
Favorite book gear and accessories while studying?
Tab annotations again pensreally nice bookmark, reading lightand a nice comfortable place to sit (usually my bed).
Printed books or e-readers?
It really depends because I love them both. Once I have the physical book, I will read that. If it is open [Kindle Unlimited]fanfic, or just want to save money, then an e-reader. Even though I have a large collection of books, I believe I would still end up choosing an e-reader if that was my last resort, simply because it is convenient. I am currently using ia Kindle Colorsoft again Kobo Color with Kobo Stylus 2. I really like both but now I keep most of my fans on my Kobo as they take up too much storage.
Which study program do you prefer?
In bed at night I turned on my lamp. The setting should be silent. No sounds at all. Pillows all around me.
Top 5 desert island books?
When you start reading a book and realize you don’t like it – what do you do?
It depends. 90% of the time I push because when I review a book I want to stay honest and tell my audience that it doesn’t get better. I’ve been better at DNFing lately because life is too short to read boring books.
Editor’s note: DNF stands for “Did Not Finish” and is an acronym widely accepted by the BookTok community.
What do you love about what you do?
I love that I can connect with like-minded people who love and enjoy the same books that I do. I love that these jobs give me opportunities that I could only dream of, [for example] attending premieres and meeting writers.
What goals do you have for your digital footprint:
My thoughts lately have been “full post, just take it, cringe is dead,” while I’m staying safe of course.
