Mirror details
The operating system of the Galaxy Glasses will be Android XR, which was developed by Samsung and Google and is used for smart glasses and headsets that use Extended Reality, a term that includes Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality and Virtual Reality (here is a good dictionary). Eyewear brand Gentle Monster is designing glasses for Samsung, the report said.
The Galaxy Glasses will have speakers, microphones and a high-definition camera. If someone is wearing them, the glasses will capture a video of what the wearer sees. Gemini AI will analyze the video, and the glasses will provide information to the wearer by voice.

The Android XR mirror system can also take pictures, send messages and help translate foreign languages in real time.

Car service to go home
The company also wants to connect these mirrors with its Car-to-Home system, which is included in some Hyundai, Kia and Genesis vehicles.

“Based on our long-term vision and strategic direction for augmented reality (XR), we plan to continue developing various features in line with market maturity and changing consumer demand,” the executive told the newspaper.
