Jon Hamm, Elle Fanning and Keanu Reeves Star in Apple TV’s Biggest Movies of April 2026

Apple TV he holds the distinction of being one of the only ones broadcasting services offering only original content on its site: You won’t find a rotating library of blockbusters and classic sitcoms there. Instead, you’ll find a carefully curated collection of interesting content for kids and adults alike. That includes shows like Ted Lasso, The Morning Show and Shrinking, and movies like F1: The Movie — all produced by Apple as well.

Because Apple’s content collection is well organized, it does not release as many titles every month as some of the company’s competitors, but this April there are many big games and movies coming to that star of big names in Hollywood. Jon Hamm returns for another season of Friends and Neighbors; and Elle Fanning, Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz and Johan Hill appear in Outcome, a dark comedy directed by Hill. In addition, you can hold live F1 races this season and all MLS games on Apple TV now that the MLS Season Pass is part of Apple’s subscription package. Football season is in full swing, with games being broadcast every week.

Your Friends and Neighbors, Season 2 (April 3)

In Season 1 of Your Friends and Neighbors, Jon Hamm introduced us to Andrew Cooper, a lucky man in every way. After losing his well-paying job and breaking up with his wife (who moved on with his best friend), he began stealing from his rich neighbors out of desperation. This season, a new neighbor arrives, played by James Marsden, who threatens to reveal the Coop’s secrets. Season 2 consists of 10 episodes, premiering on Friday, April 3, with new episodes airing weekly until Friday, June 5.

Margo Has Money Problems (April 15)

Based on the best-selling novel of the same name, Margo’s Got Money Troubles is a new series featuring Elle Fanning as the main character. Margo is an aspiring writer who was forced to drop out of school when she suddenly became pregnant, had a child and had to find work wherever she could. Like, online. The series features an amazing ensemble cast including Nick Offerman and Michelle Pfeiffer as Margo’s parents, as well as Greg Kinnear, Marcia Gay Harden and Thaddea Graham. The first three episodes premiere on Wednesday, April 15, with new episodes arriving every Wednesday until May 20.

Criminal Record, Season 2 (April 22)

The crime drama thriller returns for a second season on Apple TV on April 22. The series stars Doctor Who alum Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo as rival cops who are forced to investigate a murder at a political rally together, but their hunt for the killer devolves into an undercover mission to foil a bomb plot in the heart of London. Season 2 will consist of eight episodes, the first of which airs on Wednesday, April 22, followed by new episodes every week until June 10.

Brother The Minotaur (April 24)

The family-friendly animated adventure series My Brother the Minotaur arrives on April 24 and mixes fantasy and fiction in every episode, following the adventures of a young minotaur raised by humans.

The animated series features voice acting from Ely Solan, Billy Jenkins, Luciana Akpobaro and Billie Boullet. Michael Sheen, Brian Cox, Paul Kaye and T’Nia Miller also had their say.

In Widow’s Bay, Matthew Rhys plays Tom Loftis, the mayor of a small island off the coast of New England that feels cut off from the outside world. Many locals say it is cursed. But Loftis is convinced that Widow’s Bay can be a place, so he tries to change the island’s reputation. Unfortunately, just as the tourists begin to arrive, the island’s long-hidden secrets and superstitions begin to reveal themselves. Kate O’Flynn, Stephen Root, Kingston Rumi Southwick, Jeff Hiller and Dale Dickey also appear in the horror comedy series.

The star cast includes Cameron Diaz, Matt Bomer, Roy Wood, Jr., Martin Scorsese, Atsuko Okatsuka, Drew Barrymore and others.
