You’re not wrong about OnlyFans star Lily Phillips

Only fans Singer Lily Phillips blew up on the internet after uploading a pornographic video of her sleeping with 101 men in one day and acting out the next. A YouTube documentary about the stunt in 2024. Now, Phillips is in the limelight, making headlines about faking a pregnancy and finding a boyfriend as much as any other influencer. Between late November and December 2024, his name was Googled 6.4 million times, according to Google Trends.
Being an older creator mixes something he really enjoys — sex — with creating things, Phillips told Mashable in an interview. “It was something I always wanted to do,” he said. “I knew it was just for me.”

Although Phillips was tight-lipped about his average monthly salary, he did share that his biggest month brought him $800,000 following a shoot with 101 men.
“What don’t you like?” he asked.
Phillips’ profile has risen at the same time as moral fears against pornography, both stateside and in the UK, where he lives.
For years, adult content creators like Phillips have been excluded from mainstream social media. Recently, with the enactment of age verification rules in many states and the UK, access to graphic content has become more restrictive; if a sex site complies, visitors must submit proof of age, either a government ID or a facial scanner. This has also happened with content that is not at all explicit but is considered potentially harmful to children, such as the Reddit forum help people stop smoking.
For Phillips, who uploads a lot of content to his OnlyFans account, porn allows him to be creative and create the content he wants (of course, within the OnlyFans guidelines).
“For me, I see it as real art,” he said. “And it sounds silly, but really … I’m starting to create my own art every day.”
“I wasn’t very good at school. I’m not an academic achiever or anything like that. So to find something I’m good at feels amazing,” he continued.
What people are wrong about Lily Phillips
There are many misconceptions about prostitutes out there. Those Phillips heard about him included that he was hungry for money (“No, I’m doing something that I enjoy and love”) and that he had a “bad character” (“No, none of this is really bad or wrong… I’m putting my art out there for people to enjoy too”).
“And if it’s a male porn star [were sitting] here, is that the first question you can ask him?”
He also sees how he behaves differently from men in the adult industry. One of the most asked questions he gets is what his parents think. “And if it’s a male porn star [were sitting] here,” said he, “is that the first question you would ask him?”
There’s a sense of “ownership” when it comes to women, Phillips says, like her parents are somehow her own. “No, this was a choice I made alone as an adult,” he said.
He himself is open-minded about other people’s opinions, so it is sad to find out that others are not the same. “When someone decides, and they think they know everything about you and your work, it can be frustrating.”

He would love to sit down with someone who is against porn and hear why they are against it, and tear down the industry for them.
Phillips is also a supporter of the Online Safety Act, the UK’s age verification law which comes into effect in July 2025.
Sex censorship will destroy the entire internet
“There’s nothing worse than…a young person seeing my porn,” he said. He started seeing pornography when he was 11 years old, and he thinks that the thought of someone under the age of not seeing it is bad.

Many rather plead device level filtersfree speech advocates who say don’t infringe on the rights of the elderly. Last week, Pornhub announced live in the UK and following the implementation of such a filter on iOS 26.4 devices; it was previously banned due to the Internet Security Act.
Phillips is also an advocate for more sex education and media literacy in schools. He pointed out that young men can look at pornographic images and think that sex is like this in real life. As an adult, you learn that porn isn’t the same as how everyone else has sex, but that’s not the case when you first have sex, he said. (Although some adults may not know this, either.)
Phillips told Mashable that he hasn’t seen his income affected by the Internet Security Act. That’s probably because OnlyFans requires a credit card to create an account, which is a form of age verification. But preliminary research suggests otherwise older creators lost their income because of these restrictions.
A typical day for Lily Phillips
Every day is “very different,” Phillips said, but he gave an example of what he was doing on the day of his Mashable interview. That morning, he walked his dog and shot custom content for clients and social media content.
After the interview, he said he had other calls planned, including video calls with clients. Then, he would sleep at night.
“Many people think it’s a lot of sex, but I probably sleep with other creators once a week,” he revealed. “Maybe people think I go out every day, but [I’m] not so.”
“I probably only have sex with other creators once a week. People probably think I just play every day, but [I’m] not so.”
As for sex studios, Phillips said he works with them about once a month. He prefers his content to be exclusive to his followers only, as he is in charge. When he made a video with a studio, “You sign that contract and they can sell [the video] if you’re dead.” Also, studios don’t pay. An industry expert told Mashable that the average heterosexual scene pays about $1,200-1,600 for women and $700-1,000 for men. This can increase for special scenes or high-profile actors.
Especially with fans only, marketing and advertising is a big part of getting an audience. Only fans don’t have jobs to find, so creators need to go somewhere else, like social media, to find customers. So most of his time is spent creating social media content.
And it just so happens that days before Phillips spoke to Mashable, his Instagram account disappeared.
What happened to Lily Phillips’ Instagram?
Phillips and his team confirmed to Mashable that his Instagram account was deleted in early May. A spokesperson for Meta told Mashable on May 11 that the account was accidentally deleted and has since been restored.
“A lot of girls in the industry get fired at that moment,” Phillips told Mashable when the account was shut down. This isn’t too surprising, as many accounts related to sexuality, LGBTQ, and reproductive health accounts report it. Meta shuts them down.
“We’re really discriminated against,” Phillips said. “All my content is always guides. I don’t even show my ass cheeks or anything like that. I’m really strict.”

Instagram is one of his biggest platforms that bring in OnlyFans subscribers, so if it were to go down, it would affect him financially, he said. He vlogging for Instagram account and more than 110,000 followers remain active while the main account, @lilyphilip_sit was low, but that’s a small part of the next 1.6 million in his other account.
What’s next for Lily Phillips?
In the near future, Phillips will appear in a new Australian reality series Unlocked: Dirty Dirty Moneywhich premieres at the end of May.
Phillips sees himself as a workaholic, saying that sometimes he doesn’t sit back and think about how much he’s made or the honor he’s received. But as is the nature of content creators, adults not, you can’t just stay happy when you have $800,000 a month. If you want that to happen again, you have to work for it.
“Maintaining that can be really difficult,” he said. When you have a viral moment like Phillips did 100 Menhe thinks about how he can lift himself up (figuratively) and keep doing better.
