Lindsey Graham is dead. Before we celebrate too much, there is still an opportunity for you to help bring more suffering and death as he did while he was alive.
Let’s first look at the official line of Lindsey’s death before turning to other theories and those who want to make money from his death by trying to prove his death to the nations would like the US to take a more difficult line than the current madness.
According to Graham’s office, he died Saturday night “due to a brief and sudden illness.” More from NBC News:
Emergency responders responded to a “cardiac arrest” call at Graham’s home on Capitol Hill Saturday night, according to police surveillance footage obtained by NBC News. An EMS call later indicated that CPR was still in progress.
Footage from the scene obtained by NBC News shows paramedics carrying a man on a stretcher from Graham’s home to a waiting ambulance. Police cars and fire trucks were also on the scene…Graham’s office said Sunday that the initial cause of death was “aortic rupture from cardiovascular disease,” or the rupture of his aorta due to hardening of the arteries.
President Donald Trump told NBC News’ “Meet the Press” on Sunday that he spoke with Graham on Saturday night, hours before she died.

White House correspondent Barak Ravid at Axios has the following:

A person who spoke to Graham shortly afterward said the senator complained that he was not feeling well. When the person urged him to seek immediate medical attention, Graham said he would do so Sunday morning after appearing on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Graham then joked: “I’m not going to die now. I still need to do Russia sanctions, fix Iran and do Israel-Saudi normalization.”
Ravid’s opinion differed from what Graham’s office said Sunday (A senior Graham staffer told NBC News earlier Sunday that there was no indication the attorney was unwell before his death.)

Did Lindsey die in Kyiv?
Except that Lindsey was in Kyiv on Saturday and happened to visit a drone factory there it is possible he was beaten by Russia that night. I have read many reports and it is unclear if the place Graham visited was actually hit by Russia. For example, here is the International Business Times:
SkyFall, the Ukrainian drone company whose site was hit, has confirmed that a US Republican senator visited the company’s production facilities on July 11, 2026, where he was told about the development and production of unmanned combat systems. During the visit, Graham was shown a series of systems, including heavy Vampire-strike aircraft (known in the front lines as ‘Baba Yaga’), Shrike first-person observation drones in multiple configurations, and P1-SUN interceptor drones designed to combat Shahed-loitering weapons. He also said he had reached an agreement with the White House on the Russia sanctions bill.
But:
…Ukrainian authorities have not publicly identified the SkyFall site visited by Graham as one of the sites affected by the Russian strike.
So it is not clear whether the center Lindsey attended was hit by Russia. According to the Kyiv Post, “SkyFall is a Ukrainian defense technology company that includes a large R&D center, advanced production lines, and a certified SkyFall Academy for training pilots, instructors, and technicians.”
It is also possible that Lindsey also visited an undisclosed facility.
According to TASS, the Russian military attacked military and industrial enterprises in Kiev on Saturday:

The report does not say which one.
Larry Johnson, for one, calls BS on the official line based on the timeline:
Senator Graham arrived in Kyiv between 09:45–10:45 local time on 10 July. The train he took from Poland left Warsaw at 18:15 local time on July 9. It was a night train. To get to Poland in time to catch the 18:15 train, Lindsey would depart from Dulles International Airport at around 0700 local time on July 9 – a 9 hour flight from Dulles to Warsaw.
So Lindsey Graham arrives in Kyiv at 11 am on Friday morning. He meets Zelensky and visits the drone factory. Then we are asked to believe that he is returning to Washington, DC after spending less than 24 hours on the ground. I repeat, I call bulls!!
The first train back to Warsaw leaves Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi at 07:40–08:00 on the 11th and arrives at Przemyśl Główny in the afternoon (~17:00–18:00). That’s at least nine hours. That would make it about 1100 hours in Washington, DC. Let’s imagine that you have an hour to arrive at the airport and the flight leaves Poland at 1900 hours. The westbound flight takes 10 hours… This means that the earliest flight would arrive at Dulles is midnight on the 11th. That’s 3 ½ hours after Graham died at home.
Andrew Korybko urges “Stop the Madness: Putin Did Not Kill Lindsey Graham!” His opinion:
Another theory pushed by friends of Russia is that Graham was killed during a Russian strike on a Ukrainian aircraft factory he was secretly visiting, but Trump confirmed that he spoke to Graham the night before he died after returning to the US. It is unbelievable that he of all people, who is known to be bitter, would cover up the assassination of his best friend by Putin. It is even more unbelievable that a deeply anti-Russian state would also avoid the opportunity to escalate against Russia.
Although it is true that some of the leading Russian people threatened Graham in the past, it is like a lesson in talking about one’s enemies during the war, and Graham was an enemy of Russia because he sincerely believed in fighting Russia in his country’s establishment and deep state. To that end, he championed highly anti-Russian and pro-Ukrainian policies, until his death as he was preparing to pass his sanctions bill targeting Russian oil clients before his death.
About the only convincing aspect of that argument, in my mind, is that many members of the Blob will be running with the Putin-killed-him theory (whether it’s true or not) if they want to ascend.
Laura Loomer is on the case, however:
Apparently, in the case of Russia, they will never admit that Lindsey Graham may have gotten steam from the Iskander strike during a PR visit to a drone factory in an active war zone.

While Korybko may be right; Phuthini he did not kill Graham. Could it be that someone or some group in the Russian armed forces, fed up with the slow pace of the war, the Kremlin’s refusal to identify the real criminals behind the conflict, and Graham’s big mouth took matters into their own hands?

It doesn’t matter how Lindsey met her end and despite the fact that there may be another Moloch representing blood to take her place(1) it’s good news that she’s gone. Caitlin Johnstone deserves a long quote here to finish us off:
Since the death of Graham’s dear friend John McCain, no one on Capitol Hill has been able to match his enthusiasm for mauling human bodies using expensive war machines. Wherever there was a debate about dropping bombs, launching missiles, toppling foreign governments, holding arms, or imposing famine sanctions, you could count on Lindsey Graham to be the first and loudest voice against more death and destruction.
Graham bragged about persuading President Trump to start a war with Iran. In the months leading up to his untimely death, the senator had spoken out against direct US military intervention in Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, Yemen, Nigeria, Lebanon and Palestine, and had just returned from a trip to Kyiv promoting a US proxy war against Russia. He wanted more war and military expansion until the end of his life.
All the worst people in the world are publicly expressing their grief over the loss of their war hero, from Trump to Benjamin Netanyahu to Itamar Ben-Gvir to Tom Cotton to Mike Huckabee. Meanwhile, everyone who isn’t a warm psychopath is having a good day.
Of course we see storytellers like Piers Morgan wagging their fingers and yelling at their audience not to talk bad about the dead, but to hell with them. We don’t do that. Respect is no more important than Lindsey Graham’s victims. A liberal desire for propriety and good feelings doesn’t override the importance of framing and shaming Graham’s chaotic mass-murdering unit as he would throughout his ugly, sad life.
Lindsey Graham is dead, and it’s good that she’s dead. May his vision of annihilating all things soon join him in the cold and cold arms of the world. May the disgruntled, dissatisfied god he worshiped cease to be recognized in this world.

- South Carolina’s GOP Governor Henry McMaster is seeking an immediate appointment to fill Graham’s seat during the remainder of his term, which ends in January. Who will be the Republican nominee in the next election. Other candidates, according to the Washington Post:
Graham won the GOP Senate GOP primary last month, meaning the state will hold a special GOP race in the next few weeks to choose a new nominee. Given the rapid turnover, candidates may include some of the same people who were on the original ballot.
South Carolina businessman Mark Lynch finished second to Graham in the primary, with the incumbent receiving nearly 57 percent of the vote to Lynch’s 29 percent. Other GOP candidates for the seat include Paul Dans, who served in the first Trump administration and helped design the Heritage Foundation’s “Project 2025” agenda, in the president’s second term.
Rep. Nancy Mace (R) is looking to vie for Graham’s seat.
