If you’re looking to buy your first portable power station, the Anker Solix C1000 Gen 2 is an excellent all-around model. It offers a respectable capacity of 1,024Wh, which is almost like the Goldilocks value. That’s a good amount of energy if you’re away for the weekend, but don’t overdo it. It’s also easy to transport, weighing in at less than 25 pounds. It has great recharging capabilities, going from dead to 100% power in less than 50 minutes. It’s especially important in the summer for me, and it’s great during power outages.
